Known for their commitment to excellence, they inspire through their vibrant and inclusive culture, pushing for the best in healthcare provision and operations.  As a Warehouse Supervisor, you'd carry a critical role in steering the operations and further strengthening our client's robust warehousing operations. You'd be entrusted with overall responsibility of managing shifts and coordinating all warehouse activities, ensuring the team operates efficiently and safely in line with best industry practices.  Your responsibilities will include:  
  • Assuring effective running of all warehouse processes, maintaining health and safety, quality, and productivity standards
  • Serving as a communication bridge between administration, stock, and management teams
  • Overseeing and managing people-related issues, liaising with HR when necessary
  • Guiding a diverse team through coaching and leadership to deliver operational goals
  • Coordinating daily work allocation to ensure operational success and target deliveries
  • Conducting efficient shift handover procedures to ensure operational continuity
  • Monitoring resource planning, managing budgets and wage allocation to prevent overspend
  • Promoting an inclusive, high-performance culture, identifying talent and transparently nurturing potential
  • Maintaining work standards and seeking process and team improvement regularly
  • Carrying out performance-focused 121s to ensure employee engagement and wellbeing
  • Reporting on all operational aspects, including KPI management, Labour Planning, and safety.
You'll be ideal for this role if you have:
  • Proven team leadership or supervisory experience within a Warehouse environment
  • Solid understanding of Warehouse best practices, including goods in and out procedures
  • Expertise in handling MHE equipment and familiarity with picking and packing systems
  • Strong team spirit with a focus on supporting shared business goals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience in managing a team within round-the-clock logistics operations
  • Line manager responsibility.
