Production Planner
Mid Kent
Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm
Pearson Whiffin are recruiting for an experienced Production Planner to join our client, a global manufacturer in Mid Kent. This is a busy, varied role and will best suit a resilient individual with strong planning experience.
Duties include:
- Plan customer orders to maximise production efficiency.
- Manage stock control tasks, including raw material allocation and stock rotation.
- Oversee administrative tasks like raising batch documents and booking stock.
- Liaise with departments to ensure raw materials are sampled and available on time.
- Optimise production schedules, minimise changes, and support urgent orders.
- Investigate and resolve system errors, enhancing process efficiency.
- Coordinate stock movements between warehouses and conduct regular stock checks.
- Support warehouse improvements and participate in cycle counts and stock takes.
- Collaborate on projects and identify opportunities to refine workflows.
To be considered for this role you must have/be:
- Previous planning experience within manufacturing.
- Ability to multitask and juggle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Pragmatic.
- Agile minded.
- Confident using ERP/MRP systems.
