Are you a Product Manager, Service Manager or Technical Engineer looking for a new role as a Product Manager? Are you experienced in commercial vehicles, cranes, forklift trucks or the associated ancillary equipment? Could you deliver as a Technical Product Manager responsible for managing technical inquiries, installation questions and warranty issues?
Kingscroft have been asked to recruit for a Technical Product Manager by a specialist manufacturer and installer of equipment associated with HGV and special purpose Commercial Vehicles. As the ideal candidate you will have knowledge of hydraulics and commercial vehicles and have worked in a technical customer service, customer support, warranty or an engineering role within the sector.

This is a wide ranging role across the whole product lifecycle from product development and improvement through to dealing with customer installation and warranty with the ideal candidate having a mix of hands on , organisational and customer facing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address installation inquiries, warranty issues, and product development requests from customers and internal teams.
  • Update and maintain assembly and fitting instructions to ensure compliance with international standards.
  • Collaborate with our engineering and electrical resource teams to support product development and innovation.
  • Travel to customer sites or agent locations as needed to facilitate development discussions and address any raised issues.
  • Occasionally review installation systems.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics and a working understanding of commercial vehicles.
  • Proven experience in product management, technical support, or a related field.
  • Ability to tackle new and interesting challenges with enthusiasm.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service.
