About the Role

Our client, a leading global supplier within the food, beverage, and nutrition industries, is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations at their Aylesford site. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining high standards of efficiency, quality, and compliance while leading and developing a team.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the successful completion of production schedules and daily shift plans.
  • Monitor batch documentation at each stage to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain adherence to internal and customer audit requirements.
  • Oversee and support Team Leaders to ensure smooth operations.
  • Implement and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive improvements.
  • Manage production staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Control agency staffing levels, ensuring coverage aligns with operational needs.
  • Attend meetings and participate in process improvement projects.
  • Drive a culture of health & safety, hygiene, and quality compliance.

About You

  • Minimum 2 years' experience managing a small to medium-sized team within a food production environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with a passion for team development and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience in project management and process improvement.
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive under pressure.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
