About the Role
Our client, a leading global supplier within the food, beverage, and nutrition industries, is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations at their Aylesford site. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining high standards of efficiency, quality, and compliance while leading and developing a team.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the successful completion of production schedules and daily shift plans.
- Monitor batch documentation at each stage to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain adherence to internal and customer audit requirements.
- Oversee and support Team Leaders to ensure smooth operations.
- Implement and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive improvements.
- Manage production staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Control agency staffing levels, ensuring coverage aligns with operational needs.
- Attend meetings and participate in process improvement projects.
- Drive a culture of health & safety, hygiene, and quality compliance.
About You
- Minimum 2 years' experience managing a small to medium-sized team within a food production environment.
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for team development and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience in project management and process improvement.
- Ability to multi-task and thrive under pressure.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
