Are you an experienced quality engineer with a hands-on approach and a passion for leading a team towards excellence? We're looking for a dynamic Quality Team Leader to support our client’s thriving manufacturing environment, where quality and precision are paramount.

About the Role

As the Quality Team Leader, you’ll lead a small team of quality engineers to uphold and enhance product quality in a regulated EN9100 environment. This role is ideal for a motivated professional eager to take on leadership responsibilities, manage the departmental workload, and actively contribute to process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Nonconformance Management: Oversee the control of nonconforming products within value streams, ensuring effective, timely containment and corrective actions while maintaining internal communication.
  • Process Improvement & Problem Solving: Support value streams by driving process enhancements and providing training on best practices.
  • Documentation Coordination: Set up and manage IMS sheets and coordinate FAIRs (First Article Inspection Reports) per customer requirements.
  • Calibration Oversight: Lead the calibration management of measuring and test equipment, following company protocols.
  • Compliance Audits: Conduct internal Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety audits to ensure compliance and highlight areas for improvement.
  • Quality System Maintenance: Oversee the upkeep of quality systems and perform inspections using a variety of measuring tools, including CMM, verniers, and gauges.

What You’ll Need

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Technical Skills: Strong GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and metrology expertise.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with EN9100 and ISO14001 standards is desirable.
  • Bonus Skills: Experience with machined plastic and metal parts, compression, and transfer moulding.
