We are working with our client based in Aylesford to recruit a Gluing Machine Minder for their site in Aylesford.

You must have previous experience of working with Gluing Machines in order to produce high quality work in a quick and efficient manner.

  • Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Make Ready and Run work as efficiently as possible whilst meeting safety, quality and productivity targets
  • Complete all necessary administration including data entry onto the business IM systems
  • Identify any maintenance issue and resolve where possible, or communicate with appropriate personnel in line with departmental procedures
  • Ensure quality checks are carried out as per company guidelines
  • Responsible for ensuring the machines, tooling, auxiliary equipment and working area are kept clean, safe and organised
  • General machine maintenance
  • Advise Supervisor of any consumable stock requirements
  • Utilization of the appropriate equipment to assist with material preparation
  • Responsible for assisting Department with Training needs for Gluing Apprentices and Assistants
  • Any other duties as instructed by a member of the management team
  • To comply with all business management system requirements
  • To comply with all certification requirements

Hours of work:

  • 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am
  • 20% Shift premium when on the nightshift
  • 15% premium when working 6pm-10pm
  • Monday to Friday
  • Plenty of overtime if required paid at 1.5x
