Tax Advisor - Key Responsibilities:
  • Self-Assessment Tax Returns: Assist with the preparation and submission of self-assessment tax returns for individuals, sole traders, and partnerships.
  • Benefit Forms: Process P11Ds, P11D(b), and other benefit forms.
  • Capital Gains Tax Returns: Prepare Capital Gains Tax returns on residential property.
  • Job Progress Tracking: Track job progress and follow up on information requests.
  • Client Queries: Respond to client queries over the phone and via email.
  • Client File Maintenance: Maintain organised client files and records both electronically and physically.
  • HMRC Liaison: Liaise with HMRC on matters on behalf of clients.
  • Reporting: Report directly to the tax manager.
Tax Advisor - Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proven experience in personal tax within a public practice.
  • Strong knowledge of self-assessment tax returns, P11Ds, and Capital Gains Tax.
  • Proficient in using tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
