We are recruiting for a full-time domestic appliance engineer to join a well-established business in the Aylesford area.Due to growth within the Repair and servicing of their clients cleaning machinery, they are seeking a skilled Appliance Engineer to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Diagnosing, Testing and Repairing industrial Vacuums and floor cleaning machines.Full time hours are 45 per week Mon-Fri 08.00 to 17.30Duties* Diagnose and repair faulty cleaning machines within the manufacturers guidelines* Effectively communicate the technical diagnosis of the machines to our customers* Work closely with our client base to repair their machines in a timely manner* Be able to read manufacturers schematics to effectively fault find* Accurately record and document all works completed to produce itemised billing* Liaise with Manufacturers and suppliers when ordering parts* Be able to perform off site visits to our customers premises* Ensure full compliance with industry standards and regulationsRequirements* Experience in the repair and maintenance of cleaning machinery* Able to work under own initiative and to deadlines* Excellent customer service skills* Competent in the use of computers to diagnose faults* Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex engineering problems.* Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment.* A proactive approach to learning new technologies and methodologies in the field of appliance engineering.This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Appliance engineer team and grow their service and repair business.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: £26,844.00-£32,064.00 per yearBenefits:* Company pension* Employee discount* Free parking* Health & well-being programme* On-site parkingSchedule:* Day shift* Monday to FridayWork Location: In person
