The Role
Youll be working in a fast-paced environment, programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines. Your job will be to ensure the machinery is running efficiently, producing parts to exact specifications, and keeping things moving with minimal downtime. This is a hands-on, no-nonsense role that will see you working alongside a small, skilled team.
Hours of Work:
- Day Shift:Monday to Thursday, 8 am 4.30 pm, Friday 8 am 1 pm
- Early Shift:Monday to Thursday, 6 am 2 pm, Friday 6 am 11 am
- Back Shift:Monday to Thursday, 2 pm 10 pm, Friday 11 am 4 pm
Whats on Offer?
Hourly Rate:Up to £18 per hour + 33% shift premium for early/back shifts
Shift Premium Calculation:
Day Shift: £18 per hour
Early & Back Shifts: £18 + 33% = £23.94 per hour
Total: £46,119 per year +
- 33 days holiday a year
- Monday to Friday work with an early finish on Fridays

What Were Looking For:
- Experience:At least 3 years as a CNC Miller
- Qualifications:Apprenticeship/HNC in Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent)
- Skills:CNC Milling machine operation, programming, and Fanuc knowledge
- Precision:Able to read engineering drawings and use inspection equipment
- Self-Starter:Hit the ground running, work independently, and be part of a small team
- Communication:Strong communication with the team and customer-facing skills
What Youll Be Doing:
- Programming, setting, and operating CNC Milling machines to meet customer requirements
- Operating manual milling machines when needed
- Using inspection equipment to ensure components meet exact specifications
- Playing a key role in ensuring quality and efficiency in production
