Escape Recruitment Services Commercial Division are recruiting for our client, a successful SME, fast paced and entrepreneurial company based in South Ayrshire, with further grow planned. This role is a site based role.

They have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Financial Accounting Manager to join their Finance function on a permanent basis. You will report to the Head of Finance and will be fully responsible for managing the day to day financial accounting operations whilst managing an established team of circa. 5.

Responsibilities Include

  • Take overall responsibility for all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities within a high volume transactional finance function
  • Ensuring your team deliver agreed service levels and are compliant with established process
  • Deal with any invoicing escalation queries and provide resolution
  • Management cashflow and reporting working capital requirements
  • Provide financial reports to support management accounts, forecasting, budgets and other ad-hoc requirements
  • Maintain strong relationships with external customers, suppliers and internal departments
  • Day to day management of the team including training, development and one to ones
  • Internal Stakeholder management
  • Identify opportunities for process and system improvements and support with change management

Background Required

  • Solid experience of working in financial accounting, with an understanding of both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, within a fast paced high volume transactional environment
  • Strong people management experience
  • Exceptional communication skills including delivering a high standard of service to external customers and suppliers, internal departments, Stakeholders and non-financial staff
  • Highly numerate and analytical with a problem-solving capability
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
