Description

  • Ensure Maintenance Plan is in place to meet legal, compliance and output requirements and to protect our assets.
  • Responsibility for ensuring maintenance plan is adhered to and performance reported on every month.
  • Responsibility for meeting or exceeding daily/weekly/monthly production targets.
  • Ensure that operational plant is maintained to the highest level of safety and environmental standards, with quick response to breakdowns.
  • Assist Site Leader with the setting of site budget/KPI's for areas of responsibility and ensure corrective actions in place where required to achieve or exceed budget/target.
  • Ensure that maintenance team is trained and competent to carry out their roles & tasks.
  • Develop and implement training plan for new maintenance technicians and process operators. Actively assist where required with training of new employees.
  • Leading by example, promote a culture within your team where safe working practices are strictly followed to ensure compliance with all legal and internal requirements.

Profile

A successful Maintenance Team Leader should have:

  • Qualified to a minimum of HND level in an engineering discipline (or equivalent) or can fully demonstrate comparable experience.
  • At least 5 years' experience working in a modern dynamic manufacturing business.
  • Can demonstrate strong experience of leading a small maintenance team and/or planning and executing maintenance activities.
  • Experience of plant operations and meeting production targets in same or similar industry
  • Experience of setting up a new site and/or commissioning activities would be a distinct advantage.
  • Experience of auditing
  • IOSH Certificate/other Safety qualification
