We are currently looking for a dedicated Manufacturing Process Improvement Engineer to join our client in South Ayrshire, who are one of the UKs leading companies in there industry. This is a great opportunity to join a growing, progressive business that has a wide variety of challenges and technologies.

You role will be to support the implementation of critical to process improvement projects to join the Engineering Team. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimising the manufacturing processes to improve safety , efficiency and quality.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Compliance with all workplace health and safety regulations in order to ensure a safe working environment
  • Design, implement, and monitor process improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes
  • Prepare and present technical reports and documentation
  • Maintain EHS, quality and environmental responsibilities & standards in line with Company guidelines

You will be a team player who can demonstrate that they can meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Process Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Health and Safety awareness desirable
  • Hard work ethic and a strong team player
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and team working abilities
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines
  • Experience of Six Sigma working practices preferred but not essential
