We offer part-time and full-time shifts which can be booked through our app or by catching up with your own dedicated consultant.

Randstad is working to support a respite service supporting children and their families with complex learning and physical disabilities. This is a rewarding service to work in, taking young people out of their regular routine to relax and enjoy themselves in a safe and nurturing environment. This contract is temporary with the possibility of becoming permanent.

A successful child care support worker will be responsible for:

-Working effectively as part of a team of child support workers

- Providing 24 hours care to a vulnerable young people

-Providing personal care to children

- Administering medication

-Promoting a positive parenting role model

-Ensuring professional boundaries are in place

-Maintaining professional manner and working to National Care Standards

To be successful in your application, you will need:

-6 months of prior experience in the UK working in a residential setting with young people aged below 16 years.

-Flexibility in the roles undertaken.

-Strong communication skills.

-Registration under the PVG scheme.

-Full driving license(Required).

-Obtained, or working towards SVQ level 3 and SVQ level 4 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent desirable.
