Job Title: Transport Admin
Location: Daventry
Salary: £25,000 Per annum
Contract: 12 month contract - Maternity cover
Shifts: Monday - Friday - 7-5

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing collections for off-site customers, including arranging new collections.
• Maintain accurate records of costs, schedules, and other relevant information in internal logs
• Proactively find solutions to customer queries and transportation issues, ensuring timely resolution
• Handle incoming inquiries from customers via email and phone, aiding and resolving transport-related issues promptly
• Collaborate closely with couriers to ensure successful collections and address any delays or failures
• Support the transport planner during peak periods by coordinating with operations and sales teams to optimize collection processes
• Perform various administrative tasks to support transportation operations effectively.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

• Proficiency in administrative tasks such as data entry, email management, and record-keeping.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams, external stakeholders, and customers.
• Ability to manage collections, schedule changes, and resolve issues with couriers.
• Knowledge of transportation logistics and the ability to provide quotes for collection costs
• Proactive mindset with a focus on problem-solving and customer satisfaction.
• Tenacity and resilience to handle challenging situations and maintain high levels of service
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
