Are you a seasoned professional in the private medical insurance market looking to take your career to the next level? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a dynamic team as a PMI Account Handler! This role involves designing and managing tailored medical insurance plans while building and maintaining strong client relationships.

Office days will be very well sought after, however, there can be some flexibility depending on the needs of the business. Ideally, you may have gained some experience in the broking background, we are open to considering PMI professionals across London, Surrey and, Gloucestershire. Your role will be instrumental in supporting and servicing an excellent and diverse book of clients.

As a key member of the PMI team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Resolving queries and problems in a timely and efficient manner. 
  • Generating new business opportunities from within the existing book of business. 
  • Supporting clients with claims, helping clients to liaise with insurers to ensure prompt claim payment. 
  • Handling renewals, mid-term adjustments. Place new business and renewals in the relevant markets.
  • Cross-sell through existing contacts or referrals.

To be successful in this role, you will have-

  • a keen attention to detail.
  • strong work ethics and empathy.
  • proven experience and understanding of PMI, 3+ years experience desirable.
  • excellent negotiation skills and strong numeracy skills.
