We are seeking a temporary Accounts Payable Assistant to support our finance team for the next three months. This role involves managing the purchase ledger, processing invoices, making payments to suppliers, and assisting with financial reconciliations and audits. This position is ideal for someone with prior experience in accounts payable who can quickly adapt and contribute effectively.
Day-to-day of the role:- Assist with managing the purchase ledger.
- Process invoices.
- Execute timely payments to suppliers.
- Conduct supplier statement reconciliations.
- Manage the daily direct debit run to collect customer payments.
- Assist with collating information for audit requests.
- Proven experience in an accounts payable role.
- Familiarity with finance software
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
