Are you a skilled CNC machinist looking for a role that combines technical excellence with an exceptional work-life balance?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program, set, and operate manual and CNC machine tools, including lathes and milling machines.
  • Work with a range of materials, primarily stainless steel, to produce high-precision vacuum components.
  • Ensure all products meet exacting quality standards.
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety and take responsibility for your own health and safety.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled CNC Machinist with a time-served apprenticeship (HND qualification preferred).
  • Skilled in operating manual and CNC lathes and mills (MAZAK Mazatrol experience is advantageous).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with CAD software, vacuum systems, TIG welding, or stress analysis (desirable).
