NPD Manager

Location: North Wales

On-site with some flexibility for hybrid working (at least one day per week), including national travel as needed (a valid driver's license is required due to customer locations).

Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience.

Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00

Are you an experienced NPD Manager with Project Management skills and a keen eye for detail? Our client, a leading bakery product manufacturer, is seeking an experienced NPD Manager to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead product development managing the entire NPD process from concept to launch.
  • Work with key retail partners to align product development with their strategies and ensure successful product launches.
  • Oversee NPD projects, managing timelines, resources, and budgets for on-time delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, and Production.
  • Liaise with ingredient suppliers to source materials and ensure quality standards.
  • Oversee trials, taste panels, and sensory evaluations, adjusting formulations as needed.
  • Ensure all products comply with food safety standards and labeling laws.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of bakery production processes, ingredient functionality, and sensory evaluation.
  • 5 years in NPD
  • Project Management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, labeling laws, and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word
  • PMP certification is a plus
