Hours: Monday – Friday  9pm – 5pm

Are you an experienced Specification Writer? My client, a leading company in the food and drink industry, is looking for a meticulous individual to manage packaging specifications for major retailers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile, manage, and maintain accurate product specifications for packaging, ensuring compliance with customer and legal requirements.
  • Utilise and update portals for major supermarkets such as Tesco, Morrisons, Asda, and others to ensure accurate and timely submission of product data.
  • Gather information from customer websites and compile it into clear and accurate specifications.
  • Ensure correct product specifications are sent to printers for packaging, ensuring attention to detail.
  • Ensure all packaging and labels meet the required standards for food and drink products, working closely with the technical and quality assurance teams.
  • Meticulously review all information to prevent errors that could lead to incorrect labelling or product recalls.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in a specification writer role, preferably within the food and drink industry.
  • Experience working with major supermarket portals (Tesco, Morrisons, Asda, etc.) for product data management.
  • IT Literate with proficiency in using online portals, data management systems, and general IT tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Background in Food & Drink Industry.
