Quality Manager Food Manufacturing

Summary:
We are recruiting a dedicated and experienced Quality Manager for a leading food manufacturing company in Bala. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual to ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance are maintained across the organization.

Overview:
As Quality Manager, you will be responsible for managing the quality assurance and quality control processes within the facility. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that all products meet strict quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food manufacturing quality management and a deep understanding of relevant industry standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) teams, ensuring all processes are effective and in compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Develop and implement quality management systems and procedures to maintain consistent product quality.
  • Oversee the inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
  • Monitor and report on key quality performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure corrective actions are taken when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, HACCP, and other relevant certifications and audits.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the production process to enhance quality and reduce defects.
  • Work closely with production and technical teams to troubleshoot quality issues and implement solutions.
  • Train and develop staff on quality systems, processes, and best practices.
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers to address any quality concerns and manage product recalls if required.

Candidate:
The successful candidate will possess:

  • Strong experience in quality management within a food manufacturing environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP, ISO standards, and other relevant certifications.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing quality teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for maintaining high standards.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A degree or relevant qualification in food science, quality management, or a related field is preferred.
