Role: NPD Process Technologist Location: BalaType: PermanentSalary: £33,000 per annum Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm Our client is looking to appoint an NPD Process Technologist to join their growing team in Bala. The Role:
  • Assist NPD technologist in preparing trial documentation
  • Develop a trial strategy, ensuring that all raw materials are ordered and that delivery dates are recorded so that trials can begin
  • Collaborate with the planning manager to ensure that trials are carried out accurately. When necessary, collaborate with other departments, like engineering, to provide trial support
  • Coordinate specific requirements and expectations with the NPD technologist and carry out all factory trials with production including packaging
  • Gather samples for nutritional and shelf life, as well as samples that are kept for freezing and customer sign-off
  • Complete trial reports and inform wider team
  • Collaborate closely with engineering to gain a deeper understanding of machine settings and capabilities
  • Attend customer meetings when required
The candidate:
  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • HACCP/Food Safety Level 3 certification
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work alone or as part as a team
  • Proficient with Microsoft office
