Site Engineer

Contract Scotland is looking for experienced Site Engineers to join a major infrastructure project on a long-term contract. This is a great opportunity to work with a well-established civil engineering contractor on a challenging and rewarding project.

As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of the project. Your responsibilities will include:

• Setting out and surveying works to ensure accuracy and compliance with design specifications
• Overseeing subcontractors and site operations to maintain high-quality standards
• Ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to on-site
• Liaising with the site management team to resolve technical issues and coordinate work
• Keeping accurate site records, including progress reports and quality assurance documentation

• Location: Creag Dhubh
• Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts (07:00 – 19:00), working 12 days on, 2 days off. Occasional weekend cover on a rotational basis (approximately every 3-4 weeks). Otherwise, Monday to Friday.
• Accommodation: Provided in local housing or bunkabins.
• Travel & Mileage: Covered, with details agreed on a case-by-case basis.
• Start Date: ASAP.
• Duration: Long-term contract, 6-12 months 
• Rates: Competitive, based on experience – we are happy to discuss your expectations.
• Tax Method: PAYE or PAYE Umbrella
• Requirements: CSCS Card, HNC or equivalent in Civil Engineering
