Role: Credit Controller

Location: Baldock

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 – 5.30pm – 37.5 hour week

Salary: £27,000

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an experienced Credit Controller to join our client based near Baldock

Duties of a Credit Controller:

  • Chasing overdue payments, contacting clients via phone, email and letter to recover outstanding debts
  • Managing customer accounts and credit limits, processing invoices and reconciling accounts
  • Working with clients to arrange suitable repayment terms while minimising risks
  • Assessing creditworthiness, implementing credit control policies and escalating issues
  • Preparing reports on aged debt, cash flow and outstanding balances for management

What we would like from you:

  • Proven experience within Accounts / Credit Control
  • Strong excel skills and SAP is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
  • Team player
  • Must like dogs – dog’s onsite
  • Must drive due to rural location
