Tradewind are currently working with a Pupil Referral Unit in Baldock who are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant!

About the School - Baldock, BaldockshireThis is an inclusive and support specialist school for pupils with SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health) aged 11-16. The school focuses on supporting pupils with EHCP's and a diagnosis of ASD or SEMH, respect for teachers are high and the SLT offer a supportive and consistent approach.

This school offers academic and vocational avenues to their students with the aim of integration, and as such, an experienced teacher assistant who has worked in a similar setting would be extremely useful. As part of this role, you would also be expected to liaise closely with the class teacher and guardians.This role requires a firm but fair role model to appropriately deal with pupils. Classes are no bigger than 7 in size and you may be required to support on a 1:1 basis. If you are an experienced SEND TA or graduate looking to start a career in exucation we would love to hear from you.
