Basic Salary: up to 40,000 per annum

Platinum Recruitment is working with a large Plant Hire company to find their next Workshop Plant Fitter to join their established team in Letchworth.

Your responsibilities as a Workshop Plant Fitter will include:

• Servicing, repairs and breakdown maintenance of construction plant machinery such as dumpers, telehandlers, excavators and generators.
• Carry out diagnostic testing to identify faults and issues
• Liaising with service and hire controllers to ensure that machinery is maintained to a high standard, on their specified schedules

Other industries considered

• Powered Access / Agricultural / Plant / Vehicle / Forklift / HGV

Experience essential for this role as a Workshop Powered Access Engineer

• Level 3 NVQ in Plant Maintenance or equivalent preferred
• A good understanding of Hydraulic, Electric and Mechanical systems
• Previous experience maintaining, diagnosing and repairing faults with a variety of construction plant machinery.
