Job Title: Production Manager - FoodLocation: Hitchin Salary: 拢65,000 - 拢75,000Shift: Monday - Friday (No Weekends) 37.5 hours per week Production Manager Key Responsibilities:路Oversee and manage all aspects of production operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant manufacturing processes.路Lead and develop a team of production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.路Ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), BRC (British Retail Consortium), and BRCGS (Global Standards) food safety standards.路Monitor production schedules, ensuring that output targets are met while maintaining product quality.路Implement and enforce health and safety guidelines across production areas.路Identify and address any production issues or bottlenecks, recommending improvements for efficiency.路Manage and maintain equipment, machinery, and production tools, ensuring they are kept in optimal condition.路Collaborate closely with quality assurance, supply chain, and other departments to maintain operational excellence.路Prepare reports and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, quality, and cost.Production Manager Requirements:路Proven experience in a Production Manager role within the Food & Beverage/ FMCG/ Pharmaceutical Manufacturing industry.路Strong knowledge and experience with GMP, BRC, and BRCGS standards and certifications.路Excellent leadership and team management skills.路Ability to problem-solve and drive continuous improvement initiatives.路Strong communication and organisational skills.路A proactive, hands-on approach to managing daily operations.路Familiarity with managing production budgets and cost control.路A relevant qualification in food technology, engineering, or production management is desirable.Important Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
