Reed are partnered with one of the UK & Ireland's leading logistics providers seeking a QHSE Advisor. This role is crucial in supporting the Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards across the Group. You will work closely with various departments to ensure compliance and promote a culture of continual improvement and operational excellence.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Support the QSHE Manager in reviewing and creating documentation related to quality, health, safety, and the environment, such as policies, operating and safety procedures, risk assessments, COSHH assessments, and environmental aspects and impacts.
  • Conduct QSHE audits, prepare detailed reports, and recommend improvements to enhance compliance.
  • Organise and deliver QSHE Inductions.
  • Identify and evaluate potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Assist with the provision of QSHE, security, and product safety awareness programmes through various campaigns.
  • Address QSHE enquiries from internal and external sources.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, safety concerns, and near misses to establish root causes and implement corrective/preventive actions.
  • Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of continual improvement and operational excellence.
  • Undertake random spot checks across the Group.
  • Travel to group locations and customer sites in GB & Ireland as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar QHSE role.
  • Experience working to/with ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001).
  • Working knowledge of current Health and Safety standards & legislation.
Desirable Skills:
  • NEBOSH Certificate, Environmental Health degree or equivalent.
  • ISO internal auditor qualification.
  • Knowledge of BRC Global Standards or Food Safety Standards.
