Quick Staff UK is pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a world-class, quality-focused precast concrete manufacturer based outside Ballymena, Co. Antrim. The company is customer-focused, ensuring the continued evolution of their extensive product range, designed to meet the requirements of civil infrastructure, agriculture and building customers across the UK and Ireland. We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To comply with the SHEQ Safety, Health, Environment and Quality management system
  • To participate in all aspects of the Operational Excellence approach.
  • To operate as part of the team to achieve adherence to the daily production plan, e.g., moulds prepared, all planned products produced, tasks being carried out efficiently.
  • To participate in any training as agreed per the plan.
  • To communicate daily with the Team Leader on production progress.
  • To complete all daily required production records
  • To achieve an acceptable level of housekeeping.
  • To participate in continue improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
  • Ability to work flexibly within the Production department and work within any area required.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing, construction, or agricultural industry.(or) Experience within a relevant role to the position.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety at work.
  • Flexibility in working hours and strong adaptability skills.
  • Good Communication and teamwork experience.
  • Willing to clean and maintain the work area.
  • An understanding of both written and spoken English.

Hours of work:Monday - Friday 05:00am - 14:00pmor06:00am - 15:00pm(Between 32-48 hours per week)Flexibility to work overtime and/or Saturdays as necessary is essential.
