Our client are one of the UK's largest food producers who are seeking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.
Electrical OR Mechanical bias
Monday to Friday shift pattern covering early & lates:
Week 1: 5am - 1.30pm
Week 2: 12pm - 8.30pm
Competitive salary package with higher rates for multi-skilled engineers
The Role
- Maintenance, repair and installation of production equipment
- Fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems
- Carry out preventative maintenance work, completing PM records and CMMS
- Work to good health, safety and hygiene standards
- Respond to breakdowns or technical issues quickly
- Contribute to continuous improvement and engineering projects
- Work across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Problem solve and fault find effectively
What we are looking for
- Minimum Level 3 qualified in Electrical or Engineering discipline
- Proven maintenance experience in production, manufacturing or industrial setting
- Experience fault finding on automated PLC equipment
- Multi-skilled experience across electrical & mechanical systems
- Can work efficiently in a fast paced, high volume setting
- Food/ FMCG experience is beneficial
