Your new role
As a Senior NPI Engineer, you will be responsible for managing multiple concurrent projects from the quoting phase through to product realisation. You will translate customer drawings and specifications into manufacturing data, develop bills of materials, and create operator build instructions and process documentation. Your role will involve optimising manufacturing processes, providing technical support for customisations, and offering hands-on support in model and pre-production builds. You will also ensure accurate record-keeping, participate in contract reviews, coordinate engineering change notices, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards.


What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will need a minimum of 5 years' experience in an engineering manufacturing environment, with a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical assemblies and associated manufacturing processes. Proven project management experience is essential. A degree or HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is desirable, as is prior experience in printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) manufacturing engineering. Experience in cable manufacturing, electro-mechanical assembly, and system integration is advantageous. Familiarity with programming equipment and machinery used in surface-mount PCBA manufacturing, proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software packages, and experience using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems will also be beneficial.
