TeacherActive are currently working with a highly-aspirational secondary school located in Balsall Common who are currently looking to recruit a qualified Geography teacher to enrich the learning and development of students.
The school is looking for a Geography teacher who can create engaging and innovative lesson plans, demonstrate effective teaching practices and has strong behaviour management skills.
This is a long-term placement that begins in January 2025 with the possibility of turning permanent for the right teacher.
The ideal Geography teacher should have the following:
- A QTS with a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a secondary school within the UK
- Strong Curriculum knowledge
- Excellent classroom management
- Willingness to plan and prepare lessons
- Experience working with KS3/KS4 and KS5
- A enhanced DBS (Application can be made with TeacherActive if required)
