Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a European manufacturing business recruit an Operational Excellence Manager, this full-time role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.
The main purpose of the role is to develop, deploy and maintain the Operational Excellence Framework including the strategic project programme for the site. This is a core leadership role as part of the senior leadership team, which is fundamental in providing leadership and support to develop high-performing teams, whilst driving delivery and continuous improvement through effective management and controls.
In your first few weeks in this Operational Excellence Manager role, you can expect to:
- Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental compliance
- Ensure the appropriate focus is placed on behavioural safety
- Identify, manage and eradicate risks concerning HSE
- Develop, deploy and maintain the Operational excellence Framework for the site, including Employee Participation and Engagement strategies
- Perform regular 5s Audits/events to improve productivity and work place organisation.
To apply for this Operational Excellence Manager role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:
- Prior experience in a manufacturing leadership role
- Understanding of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Kaizen, lean manufacturing methodology
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP systems experience) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Office.
