I am thrilled to be recruiting for a hands-on, generalist HR role due to an internal promotion. Within a business unit of approximately 300 employees, you will be the key HR contact, working alongside the HR Business Partner and HR Administrator. This role offers the chance to play a vital role in shaping and supporting the HR strategy across the organisation.

You must be confident and experienced in relationship-building, as stakeholder management is central to this role. You will collaborate with senior management teams across sites to drive the people strategy, focusing on employee engagement, organisational design, restructuring, and the development of recruitment, training, and succession planning initiatives.

You'll be taking charge of this business area, so being proactive and hands-on is essential. Rolling up your sleeves and addressing issues in a head-on way is crucial to success in this position.#

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advice and support to line managers
- Lead recruitment activities, including selection methods and onboarding
- Support career planning, personal development, and the talent agenda
- Enhance employee engagement and foster collaboration between departments
- Drive HR projects and initiatives across the business
- Assist with employee relations case work
- Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion (ED&I)
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including unions

This is an urgent requirement due to timeframes, with a 2-stage interview process. We are looking for candidates with a notice period of 1 month or less.
