Pay: 350 - 400/day

Our clientis a civil engineering firm specialising in non-infrastructure environmental projects.We are seeking an experienced Civil GeneralForeman with a background innon-infrastructure projects.

General Foreman Job Description:

Youwill oversee the day-to-day operations a major infrastructureproject. This role involves managing a team of foreman and workers, ensuring project timelines and quality standards are met, and maintaining a safe work environment.

General Foreman Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of direct and subcontractor labour
• Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations
• Monitor project progress and report to internal and external stakeholders
• Assist in the planning of the project and allocation of resources.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are upheld.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, labour, and materials used.
• Use online systems to accurately report on site activities.
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a General Foreman in civil engineering
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Education and Experience:

• CSCSGold minimum
• SSSTS minimum
• First Aid at Work (Preferable)
