Talent Acquisition Specialist (1 Year Fixed Term)
  • Location: Banbridge, Co Down
  • Hours: 38 hrs per week (Mon-Thurs: 8.00am to 5.00pm, Fri: 8.00am to 3.00pm)
  • Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

Join our dynamic HR team as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at our head office in Banbridge. This role is a fantastic opportunity for professionals with a background in recruitment within the construction, manufacturing, or engineering sectors. You will work alongside senior team members to generate talent pipelines and lead our growth strategy, ensuring the integration of top talent into our innovative and collaborative environment.

Day-to-Day of the Role:
  • Partner with Hiring Managers to take detailed role briefs and provide strategic support and advice on recruitment needs.
  • Source candidates and build talent pipelines using a multi-channel approach, ensuring the best fit for each role while enhancing our employer brand.
  • Manage the full recruitment process lifecycle, including sourcing, assessments, interviews, and offers, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Collaborate with recruitment agencies when necessary to maintain a high-quality candidate sourcing and experience.
  • Handle international recruitment processes and manage the recruitment database efficiently.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices, monitoring new trends to consistently raise standards and service.
  • Analyse and implement process improvements and monitor recruitment KPIs such as Time to Hire.
  • Develop and manage outreach relationships with educational institutions for future talent acquisition and support the HR team with company induction processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years’ recruitment experience, ideally within construction, manufacturing, or engineering sectors.
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume recruitment campaigns and ensure best practice recruitment methods.
  • Familiarity with online recruitment systems.
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, including Maths and English.
  • Desirable: Business-related degree or HR qualification and experience using tools like Pinpoint or LinkedIn Recruiter.
