Join Our Team as a Band 3 Administrative Assistant!

Are you an organised and detail-oriented individual looking to make a difference in the healthcare sector? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Band 3 Administrative Assistant!

Location: Banbridge
Hours: 18.75 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM)
Duration: Until January 31, 2025 - possibility of extension

Salary: 11.67 PH

In this vital role, you will be at the heart of our home care services, ensuring that our dedicated Home Care Assistants have everything they need to provide exceptional care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing Work Rotas: Efficiently administer and allocate duties for Home Care Assistants, covering annual leave, sick leave, and mandatory training.
  • Arranging Cover: Quickly arrange alternative cover when a Care Assistant is unable to report for duty, ensuring continuity of care for our clients.
  • Payroll & Invoicing: Input payroll information and manage internal/external invoices accurately and on time.
  • Statistical Reporting: Assist in collating important statistical information for various departments within the Trust.
  • Data Management: Extract and input accurate data from systems like SOSCARE and Excel to produce insightful reports.
  • Appointment Coordination: Schedule appointments with Occupational Health as needed and manage related correspondence.

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Educational Qualifications: Four GCSEs at Grades A-C, including English Language and Mathematics
  • Experience: At least one year of experience in a clerical or administrative role (or two years without the formal qualification).
  • Skills: Strong organisational abilities, excellent communication skills, proficiency in IT systems (especially Microsoft Office)
