What you'll be doing:
  • Preparing client accounts and tax returns, advising on tax payable and payment deadlines
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients, building strong relationships
  • Supporting partners and managers with tax planning and advisory projects
  • Identifying business and personal tax planning opportunities
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members
  • Providing bookkeeping and management accounts support when required
  • Assisting clients with accounting software queries
  • Engaging in business development and promoting the firm's services
What you'll need:
  • ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Minimum of two years' experience in an accountancy practice
  • Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and personal tax returns
  • Experience with accounting software (CCH, Xero, Sage, Farmplan)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
