Robert Half are pleased to be partnering with a growing organisation based in Banbury to recruit a Treasury Accountant. The Treasury Accountant will receive a salary of up to £40,000 along with other attractive benefits including hybrid remote working!

Primary responsibilities;

  • Accurate and timely recording of customer receipts that have been made into the banks via BACS transfer into the finance system D365
  • Preparation and recording of supplier payments to bank & D365.
  • Accurate and timely updating of bank details & address with managing master data
  • (customer & supplier database)
  • Validating and updating bank details for suppliers in the finance system and Globalpay as and when required
  • Checking supplier statements and coordinate with suppliers any missing details
  • Reconciling the bank accounts statements on a weekly basis.
  • Implement and enforce bank policies and procedures to comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor financial transactions and reports for any irregularities or fraud, and take appropriate action.
  • Facilitate communication between different bank departments to ensure cohesive operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Assisting the Credit Controller with making sure debtors is up to date.

Key experience and attributes;

  • Proven experience in a C&B/ treasury role.
  • Strong Communication Skills, ability to communicate finance to non finance personnel.
  • Experience of Multi Currency transactions
  • Able to navigate the challenges of a high-growth / scale-up organisation.
  • In depth knowledge of incoming & outgoing allocations as well as multi currency recons
  • Ability to strategize and solve problems.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
