Role Summary: As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance team during a 12-month maternity cover. Your responsibilities will include managing purchase ledger processes, ensuring accurate records, and contributing to the financial stability of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and maintain purchase ledger transactions.
- Assist with month-end close activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Utilise Sage 200 software for efficient financial management.
- Contribute to the overall success of the finance department.
Requirements:
- Solid experience in purchase ledger management.
- Proficiency in Sage 200 (highly desirable).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
Salary: 28,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
