- Conduct outbound calls to new prospects to introduce the company’s products/services.
- Through lead generation entice new prospects through targeted communication strategies and qualify for the sales pipeline.
- Understand the company’s products and services to successfully pitch and answer any questions from new prospects.
- Negotiate and persuade new prospects whilst handling any objections during the sales meeting, to obtain the client.
- Keep the CRM system up to date with detailed notes after each sales meeting, ensuring accuracy in tracking of the sales process.
- Meet daily, weekly and monthly KPI targets for outbound calls, any qualified new leads and appointments booked.
- Complete follow-up calls to nurture leads, answer any additional questions and convert them into prospected appointments/sales for the future.
- Previous telesales (B2B) experience required.
- Previous experience working to targeted KPIs– daily, weekly, monthly.
- Prior experience using a CRM, sales software and other office applications.
- Strong problem-solving, organisation, and planning skills with an eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills both internally and with customers.
- Demonstrated ownership, initiative, organisation, and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
- Preferred experience in an outbound call centre or order desk environment.
- Ability to interact with a wide variety of people and highly communicable.
