Partnering with our business leaders you will create and execute marketing strategies that deliver tangible results and leverage group synergies. Your entrepreneurial instinct and creative flair will evolve and refine our marketing and communication methods to reflect a changing society and our changing business objectives and priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Leadership

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
  • Lead and manage the marketing team to ensure that marketing initiatives are executed efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and threats, adjusting strategies as needed.

Brand Management

  • Oversee brand development and positioning to ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels.
  • Ensure that the brand's identity, tone, and style are accurately represented across all platforms and materials.

Budget Management

  • Allocate and manage the marketing budget to maximise return on investment (ROI) and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
  • Monitor marketing expenditures and adjust strategies to stay within budget constraints.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with partners.

Public Relations and Corporate Communication

  • Oversee the development and execution of public relations strategies to enhance the company's reputation.
  • Act as a key spokesperson for the company at industry events, conferences, and in media interactions.

Digital and Traditional Marketing

  • Lead the development of both digital marketing (social media, SEO, content marketing, PPC) and traditional marketing (advertising, PR, events) campaigns.
  • Oversee website management, content strategy, and email marketing efforts.
  • Identify and manage strategic partnerships with external agencies, vendors, and media outlets to support marketing objectives.

Customer Insights and Market Research

  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and behaviours, ensuring marketing efforts are targeted and effective.
  • Use data analytics to evaluate campaign performance and customer engagement, adjusting strategies for optimal results.

Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Work closely with other departments such as business development, engineering and operations to align marketing strategies with broader organisational goals.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration between the marketing team and other key stakeholders.

Campaign Management and Execution

  • Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Measure the success of campaigns using key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust approaches based on performance data.

Team Development and Management

  • Recruit, mentor, and develop marketing team members, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
  • Provide leadership and motivation to ensure team members are meeting performance goals.

Innovation and Adaptability

  • Stay up to date with industry trends, new marketing technologies, and innovative tactics, integrating them into the marketing strategy when appropriate.
  • Be adaptable to changing market conditions and adjust marketing plans to respond to new challenges or opportunities.

Who are we looking for?

You will be an outstanding communicator with particularly strong written skills and be educated to degree level or equivalent (e.g. Marketing/PR, English or Journalism). You will have previous experience developing and implementing marketing strategies to drive brand engagement, and managing channel and tactical plans to ensure they deliver against brand strategy.

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within the Automotive/Motorsport environment but a passion and knowledge of motorsport is essential. Willingness and availability to travel to events is essential.
