Marketing Manager - £45-£50kpa + annual bonus - Banbury

My client a successful SME based in Banbury has a history of growth in the manufacturing industry and are now seeking a dedicated Marketing Manager to lead a small team and support the business Marketing strategy.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the Marketing Manager to build and drive a comprehensive marketing strategy with substantial resources, including an annual marketing budget of around £350,000.

Role Summary:

The role is critical to the company's continued growth and requires a strategic leader who understands marketing principles and can translate them into successful campaigns.

The successful Marketing Manager will oversee all marketing activities, manage a small team, and report directly to the Sales & Marketing Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership:Manage and develop a marketing team of two, consisting of a full-time Marketing Executive and a part-time Marketing Assistant. Ensure the team achieves key performance indicators (KPIs) and delivers impactful results.
  • Strategic Planning & Budget Oversight:Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with company goals. Oversee an annual marketing budget of approximately £350,000, with allocations including around £100,000 for exhibitions and £130,000 for web and filming activities.
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting:Analyse and interpret marketing data to provide actionable insights. Evaluate the effectiveness of Google Ads spending, campaign ROI, and overall marketing metrics. Present clear and concise reports to the senior management team, enabling informed decision-making.
  • Campaign Management:Plan, execute, and optimize various marketing campaigns, including email marketing and direct mail. Track, analyse, and report on campaign performance to ensure continuous improvement and effectiveness.
  • Exhibitions & Digital Marketing:Lead the planning and execution of company exhibitions and digital marketing initiatives. Coordinate content creation for web and filming projects to enhance the companys online presence and engagement.
  • Collaboration:Work closely with the Sales & Marketing Director to ensure seamless integration between sales and marketing efforts. Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and maximize operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or a recognized marketing qualification (e.g., CIM, IDM).
  • Proven experience in a marketing management role, with experience managing substantial marketing budgets.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Experience in digital marketing, including Google Ads, email marketing, and web analytics.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a focus on mentoring and development.
  • Experience in organizing and managing exhibitions is a plus.
