GI Pro are recruiting for a Punch Press Machine Operator for our engineering manufacturing client based in Banbury

Paying £13 - £15ph (experience depending)

Working a day shift offering overtime after 40 hours per week at Tx1/3

Offering a Temp to Perm contract with immediate starts

The Company: Established sheet metal manufacturer of Catering and ventilation equipment

The role

  • Operating and maintaining Amada AE25110 Punch press and linked cat/ Load unload system
  • Loading of programs and tooling in the correct order for project being processed
  • Knocking out punched components
  • Quality checking standard and bespoke components
  • Working from engineering drawings
  • Assisting with deburring and using hand held grinders on machined components
  • Operating and maintaining the tool grinding sharpening machine

Skills:

  • Experience of working with sheet metal on either Press, Press Brakes, CNC, or manual machines
  • Able to read and work from engineering drawings
