Hours: 40 hours per week, working a five out of seven-day shift pattern (including weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis)

The role...

This is a really nice role for someone who takes pride in delivering high levels of customer services and enjoys, physical, hands-on work. You will spend much of the day managing the site independently, and are responsible for providing the customers with the highest levels of service, whist maximising sales and profit targets, helping customers with anything they may need and ensuring the site is clean and well maintained.

What you’ll do

Convert inbound enquiries into sales and help customers make informed decisions

Achieve sales targets by maximising sales opportunities with customers

Provide outstanding customer service, always keeping our values in mind

Handle new enquiries, complete contracts and chase debts

Liaise with the removals contractor when required

Warehouse responsibilities

Clean and maintain all storage units, (internal and external units and areas) cleaning corridors, units, reception, kitchen, offices, toilet areas

Painting all floors and plasterboard walls, cleaning windows, and ad hoc duties

Litter picking and ensuring cleanliness of external yard and building(s) at all times

Maintaining the yard and building through planned maintenance programme

Maintain a safe and healthy environment for both staff and customers

Who we’re looking for

Goal oriented with some sales experience

Organised and able to multi-task

Enjoys interacting with customers and offering first class customer service

Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills

Willing and able to work independently

A basic knowledge of maintenance is essential
