Red Recruitment is recruiting immediately available Customer Service Agents in Banbury to join our client, a proud premier contact centre outsourcing business located in Banbury. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused with a passion for helping people.

The salary for this position is between £12.02 - £12.50 per hour and is a temporary position. You will ideally have a financial services background and have worked with vulnerable customers. 

This position is an immediate start, to start on Thursday 23rd January.

Key Responsibilities of a Customer Service Agent:

  • Helping customers find a sustainable solution to managing their outstanding payments
  • Helping customers potentially work out an affordable payment plan
  • Using a variety of methods, including telephone and digital channels to communicate with customers
  • Being a good listener, with a pragmatic and empathetic approach to the customers circumstances
  • Communicating to customers primarily via email but also by telephone
  • Commuting to Milton Keynes once a week (all travel expenses will be paid)

Key Skills and Experience of a Customer Service Agent:

  • Experience within the financial services/collections industry is required
  • Working with vulnerable customers is preferred
  • Warm and friendly telephone manner
  • Experience using digital communication systems
  • Passion for delivering a great customer experience
  • Ability to demonstrate strong communication skills
  • You will need an empathetic nature with the ability to understand customer needs
  • Reliable, trustworthy, discreet and professionalism are key attributes required
