Service Advisor required. Our client is a family run agriculture and groundcare business with over 50 years of experience in the industry. They are now looking for an Service Advisor due to the growth of the business
Successful candidates will support workflow whilst supporting the engineers both on-site and off-site. The role involves creating job cards, booking machines in, coordinating engineers diaries, writing invoices and purchase orders and looking after the workshop. Equipment that will be booked in includes telehandlers, tractors, quad bikes, utility vehicles, mini diggers, Strimmer's, chainsaws and other hand tools.
Service Advisor Position Overview
- Ensure service levels are met.
- Collaborate with engineers to resolve issues and manage diaries
- Create purchase orders and sales invoices
- Schedule training needs for department.
- Driving retail sales and implementing service initiatives.
- Ensuring service standards and procedures for the service function are adhered to, including planning & allocation of work, workshop environment & standards.
- Support with customers' end-to-end journey.
Service Advisor Position Requirements
- 3+ years experience in a similar role in an engineering-based company, ideally Agricultural/ Plant/ Automotive.
- Bobcat, Pilarus or other agriculture brand knowledge advantageous.
- Strong Organisation/Time Management
- Project & Planning Skills
- Complaint handling skills / Handling Objections
Service Advisor Position Remuneration
- £26,000- £35,000
- Working hours- 8am-5pm
- Holiday Package: 22 days + 8BH
- Overtime available.
