This is an exciting and varied design role on mechanical product range offering significant job satisfaction, stability and progression.
You will be tasked with delivering bespoke solutions and will be actively involved in designing components and assemblies to meet specifications, producing 3D models/2D drawings, calculations, FEA, technical documentation, bill of materials and costings.
Mechanical Design Engineer requirements:
- Degree or HNC/D in Mechanical Engineering
- 2D 3D CAD SolidWorks
- 3+ years Industry experience designing machinery (or similar)
- Understanding of Sheet metal and machining manufacturing processes
- Complex assemblies and sub-assemblies
