Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer seeking a role that values your skills and offers a balanced work-life schedule? This role offers a competitive salary of around £48,000, along with 23 days of holiday plus statutory holidays. The working hours are from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, ensuring no early starts, no shift work, and no weekend commitments (unless there's an exceptional circumstance.)
The primary responsibilities include maintaining plant equipment as well as the usual facilities maintenance. So you will be working on small furnace equipment, panel boards, machine tools, loads of different type of specialised equipment. The role involves fault finding, machine installations, and coordinating with more specialist sub-contractors. The work environment is akin to a clean-room, ensuring that you won't be dealing with dirty machines or uncomfortable working conditions.
Candidates must possess an electrical qualification and demonstrate a strong drive and enthusiasm for their work. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in electrical maintenance and be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
You will need to have Industrial electrical maintenance experience and have an electrical engineering qualification – i.e 18th Edition Wiring Regulations / City & Guilds. Time Served would be ideal.
