Starting Rate:12.51 per hour

Shift Pattern:

  • Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30
  • Friday: 08:00 - 14:00
  • Total: 37.5 hours per week

Overtime:

  • Monday to Friday after 37.5 hours: Time and one-third pay
  • Saturday and Sunday: Time and one-half pay

The Role:

As a Production Operative, you will report to the Production Manager under the supervision of a Production Supervisor. You will be responsible for operating one or more filling machines, either working independently or as part of a team. This role includes various tasks associated with filling machines such as feeding conveyors with empty bottles, packing finished goods, and moving boxes onto pallets. You will also manage changeovers between products, including washing out pipework and equipment to prevent cross-contamination, and ensuring that all necessary labels and packaging materials are available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure items are produced, labelled, and packaged according to specifications.
  • Accurately complete production records.
  • Perform in-process quality checks.
  • Conduct stock checks as required.
  • Maintain housekeeping to meet the client's standards.
