Description
- Support and manage the finance systems within the business services department.
- Identify and implement enhancements to existing systems.
- Work closely with the accounting and finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Analyse system performance and develop optimisation strategies.
- Manage system upgrades and integrations, ensuring minimal disruption to business processes.
- Provide training and support to system users.
- Act as a liaison between the finance department and IT to resolve any system issues.
- Stay abreast of industry developments and make recommendations for system improvements.
Profile
A successful Finance Systems Analyst should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field- ACCA, ACA or CIMA.
- Experience in a similar role within the business services industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent knowledge of finance systems and databases.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well within a team and independently.
